A new Online Athletic Registration must be completed each school year in order to participate in athletics. Online Athletic Registration for 2019 (2018-19 school year) is now open. Although your student may have registered for 2018 (2017-18 school year), it is required you register your student for next year. Online Athletic Registration does NOT roll over from year-to-year. The 2017-18 registrations expire May 25th. After May 25th your child may NOT participate if their 2018-19 Online Athletic Registration hasn’t been completed. Any athlete who is planning to participate in summer workouts must complete the 2019 Online Athletic Registration. If your child’s physical won’t expire until later, you may complete your 2019 Online Athletic Registration and upload your current physical.
All rising 9th grade athletes who wish to participate in summer conditioning, practices, and fall sports must also register and submit a valid physical in the 2018-19 Online Athletic Registration.
All students who choose to participate in a GHSA sport must have a current and valid physical. All physicals are valid for one (1) calendar year from the date of the exam with the exception of physicals dated after April 1st. The physical exam must be conducted by a licensed medical physician, doctor of Osteopathic medicine, nurse practitioner or a physician’s assistant. The exam must be signed by an M.D., D.O., or by a Physician’s Assistant, or an Advance Practice Nurse who has been delegated that task by an M.D., or D.O. The physical must also have the address of the doctor’s office or facility stamped on the form. Per GHSA, all physicals dated after April 1st are valid until the end of the following school year. You will begin receiving notifications one month prior to the expiration date of the physical.
